What is your favorite part about being apart of the LES community?

One of my favorite parts of being a part of the LES community is how welcoming everyone is. From my fellow staff, to all students, and their families. I love the opportunity to get to know the students through car line duty in the morning, as it gives me the chance to welcome kids to school each day. I grew up going to LES, and it always was a great place as a student and as a teacher.

What is your favorite inspirational quote or story?

I love the quote- "Shoot for the moon, even if you miss- you'll land among the stars". It inspires my readers to try their best when learning, because even if it's not the "right" answer, our students always learn something.

What is your favorite book?

One of my favorite books for kids is The Wild Robot by Peter Brown, the focus on acceptance no matter who you are is phenomenal. My favorite fiction book is Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah, I love the friendship growth throughout four decades.

What is your favorite food?

My favorite food is Sushi or my uncle's homemade mashed potatoes.

Do you have any pets?

Most of the students know, I've got a silly 4-year old orange cat named Waffles!
