MINI MITZVAH PLAYDATE: Build breakfast bags for seniors then stay and play at Princeton Playspace. Please wear your mini mitzvah corps super hero cape to the event! If you haven’t already received your cape, they will be for sale at the event for $10/each. TJC MINI-MITZVAH CORPS: A fun, hands-on club for children 0-6 and their families to engage in TIKKUN OLAM (repairing the world) and TZEDAKAH (righteous giving).

Kick off the Season with our Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Spectacular! Our 65-foot Norwegian Spruce is adorned with over 32,000 lights and will be lit with the help of Santa Clause. Plus, a traditional celebration featuring music by Holiday Brass, Princeton High School Choir …and a special performance by the Princeton Repertory Ballet’s Nutcracker and Clara. This “feel good” event is stocked with many surprises and is sure to leave you humming.

Washington Crossings Park, November 24th @ 5:00 PM

The Kiwanis Club of Washington Crossing-Yardley will host its annual tree lighting at the park in the Historic Village area. Stop by starting at 5 PM for hot chocolate, cookies, music by the Pennsbury Chamber Choir and a visit from Santa, followed by the official tree lighting. The Kiwanis Club will also collect nonperishable food and baby items at this event in support of the Upper Makefield Fire Company’s food drive.

Santa Arrives by Helicopter, Nov. 24th

It’s a bird, it’s a plane…it’s Santa Claus! Don’t miss the big man’s dramatic entrance by helicopter. Search the skies until you spot his chopper then watch him land. He’ll shake hands and give out candy canes. Follow him into the greenhouse where he’ll pose for photos and listen to all the wishes on your Christmas list. Fun for kids of all ages! FREE admission to see him land, there is a cost for photos in the greenhouse.

Shows at the Planetarium

Soar through the skies in the New Jersey State Museum’s spacious Planetarium, featuring precision projection of more than 6000 stars. The largest planetarium facility in New Jersey features a Full Dome Video giving visitors the sensation of zooming through the Solar System and beyond. Four shows are featured: 11:00 am – One World, One Sky (ages 3-6 with adults); 12:00pm – Magic Tree House: Space Mission (suitable for preschool and up); 1:00pm – Laser Halloween (general audiences); 2:00 pm – Wildest Weather in the Solar System (general audiences).
